Our sweet kitty, Henry got his haircut today at All Paws. His first time there. They were great with him. He was so scared and so nervous when we got there, but his groomer just started petting him, and he just calmed Wright down and went right to sleep. We could tell immediately that she has the gift. Our groomer at All Paws is Michelle and she has cared for Goldie for 5 years! She understands that our dog is anxious and always books us an in-and-out appointment. She books enough time in between appointments to have time to just cuddle Goldie in between the grooming steps till she calms down again. Nail filing, brushing teeth, combing out a full tail, hand scissoring the face - she does it all with great patience. As a responsible Goldendoodle owner I bring Goldie every 4 weeks for maintenance which means I don’t comb/brush her inbetween (she hated it) but is never matted. Michelle knows this and advises how short to cut her so she is never matted.
